A good way to taste a variety of wine is to join a wine club. There are numerous wine clubs to choose from. Of the wine clubs you might consider is wine brats which is more like a wine tasting club where you attend an event and meet and greet interesting and fun people. You can also join a wine of the month club, typically via the internet, where you receive bottles of wine delivered to your door. My good friends at Italian Wine Merchants in New York are very friendly, and knowledgeable about Italian wine and have a great e-newsletter too. Wine clubs typically offer price categories to fit your palette and pocket and are a great way to sample vintage wine or wine from boutique wineries.
